All About YOU!

This is where I’m making things about you. If you have a new blog or a new post you would like to share, leave it in the comments. Over the weekend, I will write a new post getting your posts out there for  more people to explore!

I also want to hear from you!

If you have any public figure suggestions for my Fictional Friday, that you would like me to compare to a fictional character, tell me about it in the comments.

Do you have something you want me to write about?

I can’t wait to hear from you!

  1. Why do writers (mid list, low list, even unpublished) write for years, or decades, spending countless hours at the keyboard pounding out words, wracking their brains, pouring their hearts onto the pages produced, for so little monetary gain? Is it love of writing, a mental illness, an addiction for which there is no cure? I don’t have the answers. I’ve been writing for four decades, scratching out a living (of sorts) as a freelance magazine feature writer, and now with several books under my belt, all traditionally published. But if I were to figure my per hour salary over the years, I believe I would crawl under a rock and cry. Flipping burgers or bagging groceries (nothing wrong with either; they are all honest labor) most likely pays more money–lots more–per hour than what I’ve managed to earn as a writer. Just food for thought. Your thoughts, anyone? 🙂

    1. I love this. I think it may be a combination of everything. The most creative people are usually a little “off” , and you have to love writing to devote yourself to it. It’s always interested me how some people can have such a passion and drive for different avenues. Who is drawn to what, and why? The human mind is stunningly fascinating.
